With its strong Art Deco motif, this set of bread pan and crumb brush / tray, was made in Paris in the 1920s.
This silver plated collection of 3 items was reunited by ourselves as we worked our way through an estate sale in an ancient building in Mirepoix, southern France.
Made by the ORBRILLE company and bearing their ‘REX’ trademark, the company was founded in Paris in 1919 by Henri Brille, (Or+Brille being a blend of the French word for silver works ORfèvrerie and the surname BRILLE).
All in very good condition and so emblematic of the time, the geometric motif merits our use of it for our art deco collection logo.
