Antique French Pharmacy Bottle Alcool Alcohol

  • So rare to be able to offer one of these hand-made, hand-painted French antique pharmacy bottles for sale.
  • Dating to c.1750, the original stopper has snapped and remained in place, leaving the prospect of some of the original contents still being in there—although it would be a very brave (or desperate) person who might try to remove it!
  • Written with 'ALCOOL' (alcohol), this would make an interesting talking point in a bar, a doctor's surgery, or of course a chemist's, pharmacy or home.
  • With a rough pontil scar and the original gold and red oxide paint, this is a historical piece that would make a sound investment as well as a pleasurable one.
