French Art Nouveau Lamp By Constant

ChateauAntiques

  •  So wonderfully 'French Art Nouveau' in style and subject, this lamp sculpted and signed by Constant is so detailed that is was actually made in two pieces which bolt together.  This  allowed for separate attention to be given to the colours and sculpting for both the sculpture of the lady, and of tree, which is beautifully entwined with vines.

The beautiful young lady is draped with cloth and carries a torch or flame, a typical theme of the art nouveau period and of course reminiscent of The Statue of Liberty, given to the USA by France at the end of the 1800s.

This is a huge and impressive lamp and sculpture and can be re-wired for any country (I can happily get quotes for this, the cost will depend on your exact needs).
