Boch Freres Keramis Vase, Form F1117, Charles Catteau, c.1930

ChateauAntiques

    • One of the very rare 'monochrome' pieces created by Charles Catteau for Boch Freres Keramis. Most of the items made by Catteau in the Art Deco era were highly coloured, as can be seen in our other vases for sale.

The monochrome range dates to the 1930s, and this is form F1117. It was available in a deep blue, a black, a 'pure' white, and this white with a tinted glaze, which highlights the relief in the design.

Stamped with the Boch Freres Kearmis stamp to the base and in very good condition.

This is an important piece and essential for any serious Boch Freres or Charles Catteau collection.
