A large and impressive study of lady and goats by French Art Deco champions ODYV, here in a pistachio green. A rare piece, for ODYV collectors.
France in the 1920s was awash with ladies draped in fabric feeding or cuddling goats or deer ;)
Manufactured by ODYV and by artist Lemone in a very beautiful and rare colour, this study captures one in the act, perfectly.
The Lemone signature is just visible, and as this is a well known French art deco sculpture by ODYV, we can be sure of the artist.
The ODYV mark to the base of the sculpture is good and strong, and the condition is wonderful, save for a tiny flea bite shown clearly in one of the photos.
